Initial work on the site began in 2008, with below-grade construction and foundations completed in the early 2010s. In 2026, it was announced that American Express will build the project as it enters a new phase with vertical construction beginning.
Once complete, the tower is expected to rise to be 2 million square feet across 55 floors, and will include modern office space, retail, and amenities that connect seamlessly with the surrounding campus, including the Oculus Transportation Hub.
